The Women's Rugby World Cup kicked off in the UK last weekend and I am fortunate enough to have tickets for 2 of the group games and the Cup Final.
Last week a group of us went along to the opening game to watch England beat Ireland, it was great fun, we kitted out a couple of Aussie friends, who were passing through, in England shirts, which they willingly wore, though they did keep their coats tightly closed when the I asked a member of the Australian team if she would mind having a picture taken with them :)
This weekend England are playing the USA and we will be there cheering our team on (they are currently top of their group and looking likely to reach the semi-finals). A friend from the USA is visiting and will be coming with us, I wonder, is it wrong to give her an England shirt to wear to her first ever Rugby match?
Anyway, last week I received an email from 8thdayplanner suggesting that we maybe make the game a little more interesting. Not one to shy away from a bet we agreed the terms our wager ...
